Core Cup 2020
16/01/2020: Core Cup will be played in Maryborough from 28 February to 1 March 2020. Nominations are now open for teams in Open Men and Women, Masters Men and Women (2 age groups: 35+ or 45+). Go to the CORE CUP tab above for full details and Nomination forms.
2020 Season
16/01/2020: The 2020 Season dates have been set. Opening Day will be on Saturday 14 March and Grand Final Day will be 5 September 2020. Clubs are currently getting ready for the season and recruiting players for all age divisions. Keep an eye on Facebook for club sign-on information. MDHA has 6 Clubs, so go to the "CLUBS" Tab above for information and contacts for each of our clubs.
2019 Open Indoor Competition
5/11/19: Commencing Wednesday 6/11/19, there will be an Open Indoor Competition. This will run for 7 weeks with finals on the 18/11/19. Go to the "Indoor Hockey" tab under "Local Competition" to download a copy of the 2019 Open Indoor Draw.
Queensland Indoor Championships
30/10/19: Maryborough is hosting the U15 Boys Championships from 1-3 November, while the U13 Girls Championships will be played in Mackay on the same weekend. Teams have been announced and can be found on the Indoor tab. The draws for both championships are available by clicking on "Read Full Article".
Summer Time 9's
7/10/19: Summer Time 9's competition is set to start on Thursday 10 October 2019. We have 4 teams nominated this year and the draw is now available on the Competitions Portal. 2019 Indoor Hockey
06/09/2019: Indoor Hockey is about to start. Week commencing 9 September will be come and try days. If you would like to play again, have never played or just want to have a go, come along this week and see what it's all about. If you would like to nominate a team, there are more details available by clicking on the "Indoor Hockey" tab and then choose "Local Competitions". Fraser Coast U15 Rep Teams
22/08/19: The Fraser Coast Under 15 Boys and Girls Rep Teams for the upcoming State Championships have been announced. The Boys play in Warwick and the Girls in Gladstone from 22-25 September 2019. For full details of the teams, go to the Fraser Coast Rep Tab. Good luck to all teams competing at State Champs.
Profile: Cheryll Brown Life Member and President Uniteds
21/05/2019: Today the MDHA would like to present the next in our series of profiles from our affiliated clubs. Cheryll Brown is currently the President of Uniteds Hockey Club as well as one of their Life Members. Cheryll can be seen at the MDHA fields every Saturday, and has spent more than 50 years working not only for her club, but also the MDHA and Hockey Queensland. Profile: Anne Proctor Patron and Life Member Wallaroos
28/4/19: Today we present the first in a number of profiles from all of the clubs that Make up the MDHA. As Wallaroos have just celebrated their 75th Anniversary, the first profile is from that club.
