Triathlon Victoria is a not-for-profit State Sporting Association (SSA) and is the governing body of Triathlon, Aquathlon, Duathlon and multisports in Victoria.
Triathlon Victoria offers schools the opportunity to affiliate with the sports’ governing body without cost and will provide all the information and assistance we can offer to your school, teachers, parents and students. The cost of school affiliation for 2012 is $87
With an increase in student participation, Triathlon Victoria is offering a number of initiatives to assist Schools teachers and administrators manage the surge in multisport activities.
Affiliation will provide schools with the following:
Direct access to current Triathlon & Multisport information via Triathlon Victoria.
E-news detailing Triathlon All Schools points score.
Full coverage of SSV Triathlon events via the TriVic website.
Later this season schools will be able to promote student achievement on our website through our athlete profiles.

Triathlon Victoria is now able to offer schools - Level 0 or level 1 Triathlon coaches Courses at subsidized rates. These courses provide a basic understanding of multisports and show how easy it is to plan multisport activities and events.
LEVEL 1 COACHING ACCREDITATION COURSES
Date: 3 Courses per year
Time: Saturday 8:45am-5:30pm & Sunday 9:00am-5.15pm
Venue: South Yarra Sports Centre, Melbourne High School, Alexandra Ave, South Yarra
Cost: $40 - Cost includes:
· All course sessions presented by accredited expert coaches
· Your Triathlon Australia Level 1 coaching workbook
· Up-to-date literature provided on CD by presenters
· Tea, coffee, biscuits
Please note that participants are required to bring their own lunch or make use of one of the many cafés in the area.
This 2-day course aimed at coaches working with junior, beginner and club level triathletes will provide you with basic education and coaching skills to begin your coaching pathway.
Upon completing the 2-day course you are called a “Level 1 Candidate Coach” and are required to complete a workbook, assignment and undertake a practical component of hands-on coaching within pre-determined timeframes (see below).
Candidates must be 16 years of age to enroll in this training program.
Participant numbers will be capped at 22. Places are awarded on a first-in-first served basis, based on receipt of payment.
