Archery is a sport for all people. It is a blend of long tradition and the most up to date technology, a stimulating combination of physical exercise and mental concentration at a level of competition to suit all ages and abilities. Club shoots are held three times each week as well as Club, State and National Championships each year and World Championships every two years. Archery is an Olympic sport.
Our Clubrooms and shooting grounds are located in the Adelaide Parklands, at the comer of Bundeys Road and War Memorial Drive, North Adelaide.
Beginner's sessions are available to anyone 12 years or older. A parent/guardian must be in attendance with any person under the age of 15 years.
Beginner's Classes are held over 3 (usually consecutive) Sunday mornings, between 9.30 and 11.30 am. Beginners should arrive 30 minutes early to register and be issued with equipment. A link is in the panel on the right of the page.
These classes are run on a "try before you buy" basis with all equipment supplied and are intended to introduce the beginner to the safe and correct use of target archery equipment. You should wear a reasonably close fitting top, enclosed shoes and be sun-safe.
There is no obligation to join the Club. The fee covers tuition, equipment and insurance.
