Cardaic ambulance, India

Woden Rotary, in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Nashik Road, Map
purchased and equipped a cardiac ambulance for use in the Nasik district.

This is the only cardiac ambulance in the district and it has been used frequently.

The ambulance is operated and maintained by the Jairam Hospital and Research Centre Pvt Ltd in Nishik Road, Nashik.

Disadvantaged patients receive free ambulance service and patients with private insurance are charged a fee depending on the type of service.

Nashik Road is a suburb of Nashik (population over one million) that is the administrative headquarters of Nashik district (population over six million)

Nasik (or Nashik) is in the state of Maharashtra, India, about 180 km northeast of Mumbai (Bombay).
