Format:

Round Robin

Duration of matches shall be: Year 7/8  -  80 minutes or 7 equal innings

                                 Inter/Senior      -  90 minutes or 7 equal innings

Match Schedule:

Round 1 - Start:      9:30am

Round 2 - Start:     11:30am

Round 3 - Start:      1:30pm

Player Restrictions:

The winner will be determined on matches won.

If all three teams win one match, percentages will be used to determine the winner:

Total Runs ‘For’ / Total Runs ‘Scored’ (‘For’ + ‘Against’).

 

The maximum number of players to be used in one day is 16.

Pitchers may be used for the following maximum number of pitches in a day:

Yr 7 and Year 8 – 80               Intermediates – 90               Seniors - 110.

The scorers must indicate to both coaches when a pitcher has 15 pitches to go.

A completed score sheet WITH pitch count must be handed in for recording purposes to the Convener. If and when a maximum number has been reached the pitcher can complete the hitter and then must be removed from the mound. He can continue to play throughout the game and the day provided he does not pitch or catch.

A player cannot be used as both the pitcher and the catcher in the same game.

Year 7 pitchers are not permitted to throw curve balls.  Coach/Manager must complete pitch count sheets for the day.
 
 

NOTE:  An up to date team sheet must be handed to the convener on the day of competition. This team sheet must include players’ uniform numbers.
