Format:

Round Robin

Match Format:

All matches will be played as the best of three rally point sets. The first two sets will be played to 25points with a two point advantage. If one team wins the first two sets the third set will not be played. A time limit will will be imposed on matches with incomplete sets  awarded to the team that has reached 11 points in the first two sets or eight points in the third.

Prior to the start of each set, coaches must provide the scorers with names, numbers and positions of players in the starting line-up.  Rules relating to the number of substitutes and the manner of making same will be enforced.

Officials:

Duty Requirements:

First and second (net) referees must be provided.

Each team must provide for duty on the games they are involved in:

·        A competent  scorer;

·        A lines-person.

Player Restrictions:

The maximum number of players used for the day is 15. Teams may nominate a libero player for each set and still have 12 substitutions to choose from (12 subs can be made)

 

 

Competition Winner:

If, at the end of the round robin, two teams are equal on matches won, then the winner of their face to face match will be declared the winner.  If their face to face match was tied, then sets percentage will be compared.  If still equal, points percentage.

If more than two teams are equal on matches won, then the winner will be determined by set percentage (sets for / sets for + sets against) against the other tied teams, then on points percentage (points for / points for + points against) against the other tied teams.
