Format:

Round Robin

Match Format:

Matches will be the best of three rally-point sets.

Year 7 & 8 - The first two sets are played to 25 (Capped at 25).

Inters & Senior - The first two sets are played to 20 with a 2 point advantage.

If one team wins the first two sets then the third set will not be played.

The third ('deciding') set (if played) is played to 15 with a two point advantage.

Each team is entitled to two time-outs per set.

Coaches are required to advise the scorer of their team's starting line-up prior to the start of each set.  A maximum of 12 substitutions may be made in any set.

Teams may nominate a libero prior to the start of each set.  Teams using a libero may still use 12 substitutions.

Warm ups will be restricted to 5 minutes.

The Champion Team will be decided on matches won.  If matches won are equal, then set percentages will be compared.  If still equal, then points percentages will be compared.

Competing Teams Must Provide:

A libero, if used, must wear a contrasting shirt.

Equipment To Bring:

One leather volleyball in excellent condition.

Each school must provide its own 1st aid kit; including ice packs.

Lateness Penalty:

If a team is late for the start of their match and, in the convener’s opinion their lateness makes the draw impracticable, the team will be penalised 1 set per each completed 10 minutes of lateness.
