Match Format:

Netball is conducted under the rules of the All Australian Netball Association unless otherwise stated.

Match length for all competitions will be 4 x  10 minute quarters:  a 5 minute break at half time. At ¼ and ¾ time the players must change straight over without delay.  Positions may be changed, and substitutions made provided it doesn’t hold up play.

Interchange of players is permitted at the interval.  However, it is required that these players must be ready to take the court so that no time is lost.

Blood Rule: As central timing is used, the player is to be removed and substituted immediately and can be re-substituted at the next appropriate whistle.

Officials:

Umpires will be appointed.

Player Restrictions:

The maximum number of players to be used for the day is 12.

Competition Winner:

In the event of a draw at the conclusion of full time, an 2 x 5min extra periods will be conducted. Should the extra periods conclude with scores level a golden goal tie break will be completed.

Team Equipment:

Competing teams must provide:

                                *              One competition netball

                                *              One competent scorer

                                *              One first aid kit

Players must wear same colour skirts/bodysuits/shorts (without pockets) and same colour tops with contrasting bibs.  Fingernails should be taped or cut and no visible jewellery can be worn.
