Match Format:

 

The duration of all matches shall be:   

Boys: Senior, Inter: 2 x 35 min. halves, (8 min half time)

Girls: Senior, Inter: 2 x 25 min. halves, (5 min half time)

 

Football (Soccer) will be conducted under the rules of the Football Federation Australia

unless otherwise stated.

 

Five reserve players may be used on an interchange basis.

 

 The champion team will be decided on the outcome of the match.  If two teams are tied at the conclusion of full time, then golden goal extra time incorporating 2 x 5minutes each way will be played. If scores remain tied at the conclusion of extra time then a series of penalty shots will be taken between the teams.

 

Each penalty kick will be taken alternately by 5 different players.  The team that lost the toss will decide whether to shoot or defend first.

 

 If still tied, a series of penalty kicks, alternately taken by different players, will be taken until a decision is reached after an even number of kicks.

 

Referees:

Will be provided.

Lateness Penalty:

If a team is late for the start of their match and, in the convener’s opinion, their lateness makes the draw impracticable, the team will be penalised 1 goal per each completed 10 minutes of lateness

 

Dress:

Players must wear matching shorts, matching shirts and matching socks.                           The goalkeeper must wear a contrasting shirt.  No jewellery is to be worn

All players must wear shin guards.

 

Mouth guards are strongly recommended.

 

Competing Schools'

Responsibilities:

Each school is to provide one competent linesperson with a flag.

Each school must provide its own 1st aid kit; including ice packs
