Welcome to the Tweed Border Hockey Association Incorporated website. We would like to invite you to browse through the site and if you are interested in playing hockey in the Tweed area, please contact us for further information.
Tweed Border Hockey Association Inc. has six affiliated Clubs - Casuarina, Kingscliff, Mullumbimby, Murwillumbah, Pottsville and Waratahs (Burringbar). Through hard work and dedication of many individuals and clubs and wonderful support of Tweed Shire Council, we are fortunate to support a water-based synthetic turf, a Hybrid turf and well as two well-maintained grass fields in Murwillumbah.
Five of our six Clubs are based outside the Murwillumbah area and boast their own well maintained grass fields.
Over the years we have been proud to have had many players represent not only this Association, but Queensland, NSW and Australia: A number of local players who have played all their junior and senior hockey in Tweed Border Hockey Association that have been valuable players in the Kookaburras Australian Men’s Hockey Team; Nathan Eglington, Jason Wilson and Matthew Butturini and Dylan Wotherspoon has also recently broken into the Kookaburras side proving to be a valuable asset for the National Men's Team. On the women's side, Gabrielle Nance, Savannah and Madison Fitzpatrick have recently broken into the National Hockeyroos team and all of these ladiies are pushing for regular selections in that Women's National Team.
Not only are we proud of our young up and coming players, we boast numerous Masters players, in Men's and Women's National teams.
