In the transition from Winter Athletics to Summer Track & Field, there’s much to look back on and even more to look forward to. This issue of Athletics in Action celebrates both.

Next weekend features the NZ Road Relay Championships, back in Rotorua for 2017. It’s the biggest Athletics NZ championship event on the calendar and will determine the top road running clubs in the country.

There are still another three New Zealand Championship events before the end of 2017.

In this issue of Athletics in Action we look at Wellington Harrier Athletic Club ahead of the NZ Road Relay Champs, we chat with five NZ reps to find out why they think athletics is such a great sport and we catch up with Joshua Hawkins for our “Five minutes with …” segment.

There's much more in this issue of Athletics in Action, so keep reading.
