Autumn 2016 has been very busy all over Australia for Masters Swimming. The National Championships were successfully delivered by Masters Swimming Victoria at MSAC in April. Awards from 2015 were presented at the Presentation Function following the Nationals and Gerry Tucker was honoured with a Masters Swimming Australia Life Member award. Scroll down for more on Gerry.

There's LOTS of news to share with you... so here we go!

2016 MSA National Championships & National Record

As anticipated, the 2016 Masters Swimming National Championships was a wonderful success with recording breaking entries. Events were held over four days at MSAC in Albert Park Victoria, with many personal bests and new records made.

April was a great month for setting records – 13 relay records and 75 individual National Records were set during the 4 weeks.

Of special note (exceptional achievements) were the results for

Paul Wyatt from Coogee-Randwick who set 10 national records in the 70 – 74 years

Leigh Rodgers from Malvern Marlins who set 8 in the 60 – 64 years

And Clary Munns from Blacktown City who set 5 in the 70 – 74 years
