The event strategy to have clubs hosts the target events as well as the Indoor, Field & Clout events has already been an incredible success. The 720 Championships held by SOPA, Indoor Championships held by Shirewood & Short Course held last weekend by Northern have all run smoothly. ANSW has run at a break even and host clubs have made a little money to invest back into their clubs.
In 2016 small clubs are encouraged to work with larger clubs to host events together, share the work load and the spoils.
Clubs in the following area have access to special event funding to attract events to these regions. If you are thinking about how to host an event in these areas please call the team at ANSW to discuss. • Port Macquarie • Great Lakes • Port Stephens • Bathurst • Wollongong • Shoalhaven.
