Another successful open water event was held at Coogee Beach on Saturday 21st March.  Congrats to the 260 participants including Westcoast which won the Club Performance trophy with 47 swimmers.  Many thanks to our Somerset Club for once again conducting a great event on behalf of MSWA.  Special thanks to the officials lead by Peter Maloney and Ron Gray.   State Recorder Sandra Mutch managed to swim as well as coordinate the results with Blue-Chip.  Coogee Beach Surf Club also contributed to the event with their great venue, course set up and water safety roles. Westcoast Masters

We started the quarter with a fantastic turn out at the HBF State Open Water Swim at Coogee.  These numbers helped the club win the Team Participation Award, we also had age group winners in Kieran Lawrenson, Frank van Rooyen, Mike Kerman, Viki Shelver and Carrol Wannell.  Unfortunately, we didn’t get the same number of entries for the LiveLighter All Club Challenge. To read more click here.

Armadale Masters

A smaller than usual team of 9 swimmers headed to Melville on Sunday May 3rd to compete in this year’s Melville Masters LiveLighter Club Challenge Series Event which attracted swimmers from 11 clubs. To read more click here.

Superfins Masters

Superfins succeed at Masters Nationals in Hobart

A touring group of eleven Superfins, three support staff and ‘slow-mo’ our mascot braved the cold to compete at the 2015 Masters Swimming Australia National Championships in Hobart from 8th – 11th April.  The swim meet was a huge success and was followed by a five day tour around Tassie taking in all the highlights Tasmania has to offer. To read more click here.

Stadium Masters

We have been delighted to welcome lots of new members this year, most of them in younger age brackets – great for our club which had a big cohort of older members.  To read more click here.

Carine Masters

Things have been rolling along nicely with good attendances at our Wednesday night training sessions although recent cold nights have affected numbers slightly.  To read more click here.

Mandurah Masters

This is a great month for members to be involved, as we host our LiveLighter Club Challenge swim at the Warnbro Aquajetty pool on 21 June. Make a commitment to have a few swims at this meet so that, as the host club, we can ensure that we keep the trophy at home. Whilst not yet in our own pool, this remains a popular event, so let’s get behind Mike the Club Captain and the event organisers Kirk, Deb, Ray and their team of helpers and make this a top day for all involved.  To read more click here.
