AV Road Relays

Our Athletics Victoria partner club, St Kevins Amateur Athletics Club are seeking Camberwell Malvern members aged u11 and older to partake in the AV State Road Relays on Saturday, 11 July at Sandown. Athletes would compete over a 3km (fairly unforgiving) course. If your child would like to participate please contact Nerel Ezra on 0410 324 191 who can talk through the COVID guidelines and event details.

AGM & Strategy Meeting

On Saturday, 18 July at 4pm via zoom, our club will hold our AGM and Strategy meeting which shapes the direction of our club for the season ahead.  If you have ideas and opinions about CMLAC we strongly encourage you to register your attendance at this meeting and participation on the Committee. We are currently looking for a full workable committee and welcome new helpers to share the load.

As most of you would be aware, our club is run by passionate volunteers with the aim of providing our community with the opportunity to actively participate in track and field events. We take pride in developing all our athletes to the best of their abilities and are committed to fostering a healthy lifestyle for young athletes.  Through a successful training and mentoring program, we aim to help young athletes realise their sporting potential.

Little Athletics could not run without a team of hard working parents who form the committee.  Parents are the driving force behind Little Athletics and their role as committee members, age group managers, coaches and volunteers is fundamental to the success of the program.  We are very keen to see new parents join the CMLAC committee – we need new energy each year!  A healthy club requires a healthy committee.

Please let Nerel Ezra (nerel@bigpond.com) know if you would like to participate in this meeting and be part of one of the more successful Little Athletics clubs in Australia.
