McDonald's Cross Country Championships

The McDonald's State Cross Country Championships were conducted at Bethany Reserve on Sunday 27th July 2008.  All weather conditions were experienced during the day - rain, hail and shine!

190 athletes from Tiny Tots through Under 17 participated in the events.  16 parents braved the elements (and the creek) in the Mums and Dads event.  Even Ronald McDonald joined in with the Tiny Tots for their dash.

The Championship Trophies were won by Hills LAC (Boys) and Golden Grove LAC (Girls).

Thank-you to the Barossa Valley Little Athletics Centre for hosting a great event and to the members of the SA Little Athletics Officials Club for officiating.
