Congratulations to all young athletes who competed at the Australian Little Athletics Championships in Brisbane on Saturday 24th April, we were so proud of the Team who were brilliant with many Personal Best Performances even though it rained on and off during the day (Sunday was fine weather). Adding to the competition was a Civic Reception, Teams Breakfast, and after the Championships a visit to Sea World, and Dream World before returning home. Parents and Centres can be very proud of this fine young people.
We sincerely thank our Selectors: Trevor Orman (State Team Administrator) Steve Holland, Gaby Philis(Selectors), Bruce Smith & Debbie Meich (State Team Coaches/Selectors and Steve Fairfield & Carolyn Gray (State Team Managers) for their efforts in Selecting the Team and for taking such great care of the Athletes while they were away. In essence making it a trip the young athletes will remember for a long time.
