Cross Country Season
Hey MEMBERLASTNAME family,
With the cooler months upon us, it is time to turn our attention to the Winter Cross Country Season. Members who wish to take part in a weekly Cross Country program who are registered to a Centre which doesn't operate one, are encouraged to contact their nearest Cross Country program coordinator and let them know you wish to attend. A list of Centre coordinators can be found by clicking here.
Members are asked to make sure they are wearing their SUBWAY Registration Patch when completing any Centre, Open Day or Region / State Cross Country event.
Our Cross Country program has an extra event this season, with the Cross Country Relays at Cruden Farm taking place on the 2nd June. This event provides another opportunity for Little Athletes to create teams with their mates. Join Aiden Shearer, Paul Haasbroek and Ben Major as they take you through the Super Sports Centre facilities in Runaway Bay.
The 2018 ALAC was held at the Super Sports Centre – Runaway Bay, Gold Coast, which was also the warm up facility for the Commonwealth Games only 2 weeks earlier.
Cross Country Relays
The 2018 Cross Country Relays will take place at Cruden Farm in Langwarrin on the 2nd June 2018. This will be the first time that this event has been conducted.
Region Cross Country Championships
The 2018 Region Cross Country Championships will take place around the State over the weekend of the 23rd and 24th of June 2018. Any athlete who wishes to compete at the State Cross Country Championships will be required to compete at their relevant Region Cross Country Championships.
State Road Relay Championships
The 2018 State Road Relay Championships will take place on Saturday the 7th July 2018 and will once again be hosted at Sandown Racecourse in Springvale. This event is a great opportunity for children to get involved with as it is an event which is run during Athletics Victoria's Road Relay event.
The 2018 Cross Country Relays will take place at Cruden Farm in Langwarrin.

The 2018 Region Cross Country Championships will take place around the State over the weekend of the 23rd and 24th of June 2018.
