Children's Athletics
We’re at the end of the children’s athletics season with Regional champs around the country all finished. Just the Grade 12 & 13 Interprovincial to go at Easter. We hope the thousands of children in athletics clubs have had a wonderful summer, learning new skills, making new friends, having fun and for many, enjoying a new sport. No doubt many kids who did athletics over the summer will benefit from the improved fitness, speed and skills in their winter sports. See you all next summer!

Official Chat
A shout out to the more than 120 graded officials who were involved in the Jennian Homes NZ Track & Field Champs over the weekend. It’s clear that working at the Champs is a highlight for officials and we have many that travel big distances to officiate there. We had 45 officials from the host Centre Waikato Bay of Plenty, 27 from Canterbury, 17 from Auckland, 13 from Wellington and others from Northland, Taranaki, Manawatu Wanganui, Otago and Southland. It’s great to see these experts turned out very smartly and enjoying their work at the championships. THANKS FOR YOUR EFFORTS OFFICIALS!
