Welcome back e hope you have all had a good break and are getting excited for another year of Little Athletics!
We have a number of Region and State events early in the year, with the State Multi-Event Championships taking place in Bendigo on the 28th and 29th January. On the 18th and 19th February, our seven Regions will be hosting their Region Track and Field Championships. Entries for your Region are now open and we encourage as many athletes as possible to participate.
At the SUBWAY State Relay Championships, we properly launched LAVicTV on our YouTube Channel. We were able to film all the finals at the event and if you haven't already, we encourage you to check them out here. Be sure to share these with your friends and families, and don't forget to subscribe to our channel as we'll be ramping up our activity on the platform.

An Australian team full of young guns and rising stars are relishing the opportunity to take on Usain Bolt and his international band of super stars at Nitro Athletics Melbourne.
All of our finals from the 2016 SUBWAY State Relay Championships have been posted to LAVicTV on YouTube. You can view them all by clicking here.
Region Track & Field Championships
Our next Region event for the season is the Region Track & Field Championships, which will be taking place on the 18th and 19th February. Entries for these seven locations will close on the 30th January at 11:59PM. To enter your individual Region event, please head to the following link and click on your Region in the table.
Little Athletics at the Stawell Gift
The Stawell Gift is a popular event on the Athletics calendar and Little Athletics Victoria is pleased to be involved again in the event. Registrations are not yet open; however information for the event can be found at the link below. Competing at the Stawell Gift is a great opportunity for Little Athletes to compete against some of the sport's top athletes.
Coburg Little Athletics Centre
Coburg Little Athletics Centre their 50th year on the 12th February. They will be hosting past and present members for an afternoon tea at the Centre. More information will be provided once it has been made available.
Geelong Little Athletics Centre
Geelong Little Athletics Centre are hosting a special twilight event on the 25th January at their Centre, which is open to any Little Athletics Victoria member for $5. The Track & Field event will be followed by fireworks at 9:30pm. Click here to enter the event.
Coburg Little Athletics Centre

The State Multi-Event Championships is a great opportunity for athletes to test their skills over multiple disciplines.
