Hi FIRSTNAME

It’s September already! That means that summer is not far away at all. If you’re waiting for the start of the summer season, you don’t have much longer to wait!
It also means that we’ve just held the NZ Road Champs. Masterton was a great venue for some excellent racing for athletes from Under 13s to Masters grades. Thanks to Mark Harris and the Masterton team who put on a fantastic event.
The Rio 2016 Paralympics kick off Friday morning which will provide plenty of excitement for Kiwi Athletics fans for the next ten days.
The World Mountain Running Champs in Bulgaria take place on Monday morning NZ time, so keep an eye out for the results from the New Zealanders.
In this issue of Athletics in Action we talk to one of our international stalwarts who announced his retirement after competing at his forth Olympic Games and we caught up with a double NZ winter champion about her goals and aspirations.
There’s lots more in this issue of Athletics in Action, so keeping reading.
